Replace tired bannisters with a stunning new feature for homes in Guiseley
Staircases & Glass Balustrades in Guiseley by BMK Joinery & Building
Guiseley sits in Aireborough, north-west of Leeds, an area we cover regularly from our base. We provide staircases & glass balustrades for homeowners in Guiseley (LS20) and nearby Horsforth, Otley and Ilkley.
Staircases in Guiseley homes are often dated or boxed in. We can replace or refurbish with new treads, risers and newels, or fit a clean glass balustrade to open the hallway and let more light through.
A new staircase or balustrade can completely change the feel of a hallway and landing. We remove old bannisters and fit new oak handrails, newel posts and spindles, or contemporary glass balustrades with stainless fixings.
- Oak handrails, newel posts and spindles
- Frameless glass balustrades
- Bannister replacement and refurbishment
- Staircase alterations and landing work
- Compliance with building regulations
- Clean, tidy installation
Building and joinery in Guiseley
The area has stone terraces near the centre, interwar and post-war semis, and newer homes on the surrounding hills. That means dormers on semis, extensions on larger plots and refurbishment of older terraces.
New and replacement staircases must meet Building Regulations Part K for rise, going, headroom and guarding, and we design to those rules.
Guiseley is covered by Leeds City Council. Some older parts may fall in conservation areas, and we check whether your property is affected before we price external work.
